Defibrillator Equipment
Defibrillator equipment is vital for treating life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, particularly ventricular fibrillation and tachycardia. These devices deliver a controlled electric shock to the heart, restoring a normal rhythm. There are several types of defibrillators, including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which are designed for use by the general public and first responders, featuring simple instructions and automated functions; Manual External Defibrillators, used by medical professionals with more control over the shock delivery; and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs), which are surgically placed inside the body to continuously monitor and correct abnormal rhythms
